Happy Easter! Testing out some blog functions...

Hello! Happy Easter!

I'll be getting back to some serious posting after Easter. I've decided to go to the next level or turn over a new leaf or resolve to do even better with my blogs after Easter, which is a really good time to make some serious change in your life. You might be thinking along spiritual lines or maybe not, but take it from me, if you make a big change in your life on Easter, people won't give you quite as hard a time about it. It's as if Easter is a great excuse to make a positive change in your life. So, go ahead, make a big positive change in your life. Tell them Leftcoastman gave you permission to make the big change, take the big plunge, exercise more, treat your kids or your parents nicer, read a positive book every month (or week), tell people you love them or even simply smile more instead and get angry less because it's Easter and Easter is a big deal even if you're not a follower of Jesus.

Leftcoastman gives you permission to make the big change! Do it even if you're reading this months after I've posted. You will still have my permission.

I assume you want a life Part I

Hi!

Here I am again with a few minutes to spare before I pick up my son at the library. I have the opportunity to do this because of the relative freedom of my schedule. I attribute the relative freedom of my schedule to the choices I have made and continue to make with regard to income strategies.

I don't have to deal with heavy traffic as often as a lot of people I know. I don't have to work eight, 10 or 12 hours straight. Tonight I have two phone calls scheduled which will take approximately 1 1/2 hours total. I choose to be at home in front of my computer, but I could be on those calls from another location.

Some people on the internet would have you believe that you can do everything automatically. Set it up and let it run. I have found that you don't develop relationship that way and without relationship, the percentage of teammates who remain with you after weeks, months or years is pretty low.

In addition to this, many people who can actually teach you how to make great income forget that you would like to have a life in addition to the income. My goal is for you to have a life AND the income. Does it take some time? Yes. Does it take all your time? No. Relationship is one of the keys. So, if someone thinks they're going to sit at their computer and not really connect with another human being and make lots of money and have a life, well, I'm sorry, but I don't see that happening with something legitimate in network marketing.

By the way, my goal is actually for you to have more than a life. I'd like you to have a magnificent life. Is that ok with you?

I assume you want to succeed!

Hi!

Here's the first lesson in succeeding whether it's network marketing or your career or business. Some of you will see this as obvious, yet I feel it bears repeating.

I am showing up.

I am very tired right now and I will be coaching someone on the phone in less than 20 minutes. Even though I am dog tired, I am here creating this first post when I would prefer to lay down. I will lay down and close my eyes, but, for a little less than 10 minutes rather than 20.

So, make sure you show up and do the work even when you're tired [unless you're a truck driver, then pull over and sleep].

When you find little bits of work you can do it five or ten minutes and you do that several times a day in addition to what you're already doing, that's 750 "extra" things you get done every year even with a five day workweek and two weeks vacation.
"Extra" work eight times a day, five days a week, 50 weeks a year is

2000 EXTRA BITS OF WORK

that you get done. Over 20 years, that's 40,000 "extra" pieces of work you got done versus the person twiddling their thumbs or watching TV or fill in the blank.
